This house had so much character to it, and was very well preserved. There were so many props and artifacts to take pictures of I wasn’t sure where to start. Seeing that my eyes are drawn to color, it is no surprise I was drawn to these two jars up against these curtains. I wanted to blend this with the texture layer because the texture layer would add a simple, organic, artsy and also geometric feel to the picture.  I could see this picture framed in someone’s kitchen. I also color burned the jars a bit in order to really bring out the rich color. I offset this in photoshop a little bit to give this a filmy feel. That’s pretty  much all.
